These Crispy Beef Broth Bowls are a Thai-inspired take on the viral beef broth bowl, with crispy seasoned ground beef, fluffy rice, and a creamy red curry coconut broth. Ready in about 30 minutes!
In a large pan over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef. As it begins to brown, add the 4 minced garlic cloves, smoked paprika, Thai chili flakes, cayenne pepper, ground ginger, and ½ teaspoon salt.
Keep cooking, breaking the beef into small pieces, until browned and slightly crispy. Remove the beef from the pan and drain any excess oil.
In the same pan over medium heat, add the olive oil, red curry paste, and 2 minced garlic cloves. Stir for about 2 minutes, until softened and fragrant.
Pour in the coconut milk and beef bone broth. Stir until combined and bring to a simmer.
Stir in the ¼ teaspoon salt, lime juice, and cilantro. Let simmer for about 5 minutes.
Add rice and crispy beef to each bowl, then spoon the broth over everything. Top with your favorite toppings and serve warm.
Notes
Storage: Store the beef, rice, and broth in separate airtight containers in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.Reheating: Warm the broth on the stove and reheat the beef in a skillet so it crisps back up.Spice Level: For a milder bowl, skip the cayenne and Thai chili flakes.
