These gluten-free chicken wings are dressed in a savory sweet chili sauce and come together in just 20 minutes in the air fryer. These sweet chili chicken wings come out crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. With only 20 minutes needed to get these done, they are perfect for a weeknight dinner or game day snack.
Rinse and pat dry the wings. Then place them into a zip loc bag with the baking powder and all dry spices.
Close the zip lock bag and toss well until all wings are covered.
Spray the air fryer rack with cooking spray.
Lay wings in single layer and cook on 400 ℉ for 18-20 minutes flipping at the 10 minute mark. Wings are done once they reach an internal temperature of 165 ℉
Sauce
Bring all sauce ingredients to a boil over medium - high heat. Once sauce begins to boil, combine water and corn starch to form a slurry and pour into the sauce.
Reduce to a simmer and stir well until the sauce has thickened.
Optional
Broil wings for 2-4 mins to make them crispier. Allow wings to cool for 3 minutes then toss in sauce.

Make sure to lightly coat your air fryer in olive oil or your choice of oil. This will prevent the chicken wings from sticking to the bottom of the air fryer.
Check the temperature of your wings when they are close to being done. Once your wings reach an internal temperature of 165 °F, they are done cooking. To achieve a crispier wing, you can turn the temperature up to 400 °F for two minutes to make the outside crispy. Or you can broil them in the oven for two minutes.
