Substitutions
You can substitute your favorite cereal equally for the grain-free/no refined sugar cereal, and substitute regular butter for the coconut oil, if desired.
Variations
Another way to truly customize this recipe to your liking is by adding freeze-dried fruit, using your favorite nut butter instead of the dessert spread, or switching to a different cereal flavor (try cinnamon cereal!)
Equipment
No special equipment is required for this recipe.
Storage
Store bars in the refrigerator, in an airtight container for 5 days. Although, unsliced cereal bars will store better, if the bars have already been sliced make sure to individually wrap them in plastic wrap and place the wrapped bars inside the airtight container.
Top tip
Additionally, if you would like to easily cut the cold bars, then you may warm your knife under hot water. After briefly warming the knife, quickly (and carefully!) wipe any excess water off of the blade, and then slice the bars. The warm knife will easily cut through the bars. After slicing, place the bars back in the fridge for 5 minutes to firm up before eating.

I know this if off topic but I'm looking into starting my own weblog and was wondering what all is needed to get setup? I'm assuming having a blog like yours would cost a pretty penny? I'm not very internet smart so I'm not 100 sure. Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
