Strawberry season is far too short, and this is the perfect way to keep those sunny flavors going year-round. But what is simple syrup?
Simple syrup is granulated sugar and water brought to a boil and then simmered until the sugar dissolves and it thickens into a syrup. By combining strawberries and vanilla bean, you get this perfect simple syrup.
It's a key ingredient in many cocktails as it's an easy way to add a touch of sweetness and flavor to drinks, coffees and desserts.

Flavor Variations
- Simmer an herb like basil or mint with the strawberries
