Why you will love this recipe
Easy Process - There is absolutely zero cooking required to make these. Simply mix up your margarita mix and fill your popsicle wrappers. The hardest part is the anticipation while you wait for them to freeze.
Balance of Flavors - The fresh lime juice and orange juice bring a sunny tang while the cranberry-mango juice and agave add sweetness. These are the perfect combination of flavors that will make everyone happy!
Customizable - Have fun playing with different flavors of juice. You can use this as a guide and experiment with swapping out the cranberry mango for your favorite flavors.
Simple Ingredients - There is nothing complicated about any of the ingredients needed to make these fun margarita popsicles. All good things start with tequila including these fun ice pops!
Ingredients
Cranberry-Mango Juice - This gives these margarita popsicles a tart sweetness and their festive pretty pink color!
Agave Syrup - Agave syrup comes from the same plant that tequila is made from. It adds a neutral sweetness that balances the tart citrus without overpowering any of the other flavors. Its mild flavor makes it perfect for sweetening cocktails, or these cocktail-inspired popsicles.
Oranges - Fresh is best because you will also need the zest for this recipe. Sweeter than limes, this brings balance and depth of flavor to the cranberry mango margarita popsicles.
Limes - Tequila’s best friend and the star of any margarita. You will need fresh limes as this recipe also calls for lime zest.
Tequila - Let’s get the party rolling with a generous half a cup of tequila! This gives you that classic margarita flavor in these grown-up popsicles. Pick a tequila that you enjoy drinking and mixing into cocktails. I used Teramana Blanco tequila.
Sea Salt - This is completely optional but serve your margarita popsicles with a sprinkle of flaky sea salt for that true margarita experience!

Instructions
- Add all of your ingredients to a large mason jar or pitcher except for the sea salt.
- Stir to combine.
- Place a popsicle wrapper in a glass to help keep it upright.
- Place the funnel inside the wrapper.
- Fill the popsicle wrapper almost all the way up.
- Remove the funnel and seal the wrapper shut.
- Proceed with the remaining popsicles.
- Place the popsicles in the freezer. Allow them to freeze for at least four hours.
- Serve with a sprinkle of sea salt if desired.

Equipment
- Mason Jar/Pitcher - You’ll need a large mason jar or pitcher to mix together the margarita popsicle base. There is a little over four cups of liquid for this recipe so size accordingly.
- Popsicle Wrappers - You’ll need disposable popsicle wrappers for these popsicles reminiscent of the ice pops we all grew up with. You can easily find them online. I used these fun and easy-to-use wrappers from Amazon.
- Funnel - This makes it easy to fill the individual wrappers quickly and mess-free!

Variations
Have fun swapping out the cranberry-mango juice for a different flavor. Here are just a few ideas.
- Pomegranate juice
- Cranberry-Cherry
- Cranberry-Pineapple
- Cranberry-Raspberry
Top tips
- Use a tall glass to stand up and help stabilize your popsicle wrappers as you fill them.
- Freeze your popsicles flat on a baking sheet so they take up less space and freeze uniformly.
- Use organic citrus if possible. Most citrus sold in grocery stores has a waxy coating to help make them more shelf stable and easier to ship. While it is completely food-safe, organic citrus doesn’t have this coating.

FAQ
Do I have to use tequila for these cranberry-mango margarita popsicles?
No. While it will no longer be a margarita white rum or vodka would also work in this recipe.
Do I have to use popsicle wrappers?
No. They do make these easy to make, freeze, and eat, but you could also use a popsicle mold or even small paper cups with popsicle sticks. You could even freeze the mixture in silicone ice cube trays and add them to your margaritas!
How long do popsicles take to freeze?
Typically, the freezing process of a popsicle lasts approximately four hours. Nevertheless, if the temperature setting of your freezer is higher, it might require additional time for the popsicle to freeze entirely.
