    Storage

If you have just made a smoothie and want to store it for later, you can refrigerate it in an airtight container for up to 24 hours. However, the longer you store it, the more it will separate and lose its texture and flavor. So, it is best to consume it as soon as possible.

    Equipment

High-power blender: you want to be certain you are using a high-power blender in order to blend the oranges all the way through.

    Top Tips

Do not omit the banana: Adding a banana to the smoothie will not only add a creamy texture but also provide natural sweetness

Add ice: If you want a colder smoothie, you can add ice cubes or crushed ice to the blender. However, be careful not to add too much ice as it may dilute the flavor.

Add a Kick of Protein: Use your favorite vanilla protein powder to add a kick of protein.

    FAQ

Can I use fresh bananas instead of frozen ones?

Yes, you can use fresh bananas instead of frozen ones. However, using frozen oranges will give the smoothie a thicker and creamier texture.

Can I use a different type of fruit?

Yes, you can use different types of fruit while still making a dairy-free smoothie. For example, you could make a dairy-free strawberry smoothie or a dairy-free blueberry smoothie.

Can I make this smoothie without a blender?

While a blender will give you the best results, you can still make a smoothie or protein shake without one. Simply use a food processor or immersion blender to blend the ingredients together until smooth.
